PREPARATION:
Preparing the Ingredients for a Flavorful Dish Before we begin the cooking process, it is essential to prepare all of the ingredients so that the process runs smoothly and is enjoyable. If you gather and prepare your ingredients in advance, the cooking process will be more enjoyable and efficient.
SOAK THE DRIED MUSHROOMS IN HEATED WATER UNTIL SMOOTH
To begin, soak the
dried mushrooms in one-fourth cup of hot water until they become soft. Strain
the mushrooms and cut them into thin strips once they have softened. Because it
will be used to enhance the flavor of the dish in the future, the soaking
liquid should not be discarded.
To create delectable egg strands, fry the beaten egg until
it sets in a pan or wok with a teaspoon of cooking oil. After folding the
cooked egg in half, cut it into thin strips. These delicate egg strips will
enhance the final dish.
Before serving, season the beef slices with salt and freshly ground black pepper. This straightforward seasoning will enhance the beef's rich flavor when stir-fried.
Ingredients:
- 400 grams of sweet potato vermicelli noodles,
- 1/4 kilo thinly sliced beef sirloin,
- 340 grams of spinach,
- 1 beaten egg,
- 1 carrot peeled and sliced into strips,
- 1 white onion sliced into strips,
- 1/2 red bell pepper sliced into strips,
- 6 dried shiitake mushrooms,
- 4 minced cloves of garlic,
- 1/4 cup soy sauce,
- 2 Tbsp sesame oil,
- optional roasted sesame seeds,
- optional ground black pepper,
Japchae preparation:
To soften the dried
mushrooms, soak them in 1/4 cup of boiling water. Slice into strips after
squeezing. Later, the liquid may be used.
Drain the noodles once you've cooked them per the directions
on the package. To keep the noodles from clinging to one another, toss them
with sesame oil. Next, put it away.
Fry the beaten egg in a teaspoon of frying oil in a skillet
or wok until it is set. Cut the strips into thin strips after folding them in
half. Place aside.
Sauté the garlic in the same pan until fragrant before adding the mushrooms and stirring for another 30 seconds.
After that, stir-fry the carrots and onions for about a minute, or until the onions are soft.
Noodles that have been cooked, spinach, beef pieces, bell pepper, soy sauce, chilli pepper, salt, sugar, and ground black pepper should all be added.
Turn off the heat after stirring the ingredients to ensure a uniform distribution. Add omelette strip strips and toasted sesame seeds.
NOTE:
After cooking, serve warm or cold.
For three to five days, keep leftovers in the refrigerator
in an airtight container.
